Quality Engineering: Integrate Quality, Environmental and Safety considerations with customer requirements, process design, and production needs to minimize scrap and increase production using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Supplier Quality Management / Engineering: Audit suppliers to assure that they meet the requirements of the QMS, monitor supplier performance, issue and follow up on Corrective Action requests, participate in APQP and PPAP activities. Developed suppliers through a Certified Supplier Program to reduce incoming inspection and assure timely JIT deliveries.
Quality Systems Management: Monitor performance of quality assurance systems per ISO 9000, QS 9000 and
TS 16949 to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Environmental Systems Manager: Monitor performance of environmental control systems per ISO 1400 to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Six Sigma Master Black Belt: Lead cross functional process improvement teams to produce highly credible process breakthroughs. Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive workforce productivity and cost savings for the business. Mentor /advise management on the formulation and implementation of process improvement plans. Manage conflict at many levels of the organization.
Quality / Environmental Systems Auditing: ISO 9000, QS 9000, TS 16949,
Document Control: Maintain all documentation relevant to the quality, environmental, safety, and production systems such as procedure and operations manuals. Document and audit testing procedures, methodologies, or criteria;and train production and metrology personal to implement and record them as required.
Metrology: Manage the inspection and testing laboratory assuring that measurement procedures are followed effectively, train laboratory and production employees in proper techniques, verify that all calibrations and certifications are current.
